The SGC 420 Mk II controller offers complete protection and control for a genset, genset breaker, and mains breaker. It features a deep sleep mode to conserve battery when the genset is off. All values and alarms are displayed on the LCD screen for easy monitoring. Configuration, data logging, and live supervision are done via Smart Connect Mk II software, which also includes M-Logic for creating custom functions. An analogue comparator is available for custom alarms and logic setups.
The SGC controller is designed to control a single engine, providing all essential protection functions. It ensures safe and efficient engine operation. In island mode, it supports power plants operating independently from external power grids.
In case of mains power loss or blackout, the controller automatically switches the supply to the generator. It also monitors site battery levels and shelter temperature to ensure reliable operation. Additionally, it manages battery charging to maintain sufficient power for the Base Transceiver Station (BTS).
The controller supports Modbus RS-485, CAN bus for engine communication, and a USB interface for PC connection. It ensures reliable data exchange and easy configuration. Certified with CE and UL approvals for safety and compliance.
